Matthew Gaines PA-C is currently serving as 3rd generation United States Military.
Matt’s free time is dedicated to his family. He is married to his high school sweetheart and they have 3 wonderful girls. His kids keep Matt and his wife busy with all of their extracurricular activities. Matt is currently a soccer coach for his youngest daughter and has volunteered time to help with coaching cheerleading, softball and as a band booster parent over the years. He also serves as church youth group leader and Sunday school instructor. Matt does get some time to do the occasional woodworking or small electronics project. He also does get to spend some time playing his guitar.
Matt works part time with Conley Injury Clinic in Lawton Oklahoma. His background makes him a valuable resource in helping manage acute and chronic pain through varied methods of treatment. He certainly enjoys working with patients from all walks of life but loves talking with the local veterans in the community. Many of those veterans have expressed sincere gratitude working with a fellow soldier who understands the proud but very difficult aspects of military life and their medical needs.
Education
Career
Matt enlisted in the Army in 2012 and served on active duty while completing his education as a Physician Assistant through the highly competitive and rigorous Interservice Physician Assistant Program while stationed in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He graduated with honors and commissioned as a United States Army Officer and has been serving as a primary care manager to soldiers serving at Ft. Sill Oklahoma since 2020. He has completed additional training in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and athletic training programs through the military to help improve the physical training programs for United States Soldiers. He has completed training in advanced treatment techniques including battlefield acupuncture, therapeutic dry needling and myofascial trigger point therapy.
